The firm 

A.BIO.MED is a young and dynamic organization situated in Sicily in Santa Croce Camerina (province of Ragusa) formed by 84 associated agricultural firms that produce quality vegetables (cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, courgettes, fennels) and quality fruit (oranges of Sicily, grapes, melons, peaches and nectarines, prickly pears) adopting integrated pest management in respect of the environment, in conformity with the standards required by the large-scale retail trade in different European countries and attuned to the health and taste demands expressed by the final consumer.

A.BIO.MED. agrees to UIAPOA and also has GLOBALGAP product certification.

 

The social system of A.BIO.MED is positioned on the territory of South Eastern Sicily (in the provinces of Ragusa, Syracuse, Caltanissetta, Agrigento, Catania) with a productive surface of 694 hectares (2.114,15) acres), divided for two third in greenhouse plants and for the rest in permanent crops.
